There is no word in the Quran that should be interpreted to be shooting star/meteor/asteroid/comet/meteorite. Interpretation or translation of a word in the Quran in this manner allows the Quranic verse to be INCONGRUENT/INCONSISTENT with science .
(And the laws governing science has been designed by Allah SWT)
