Question- WHY DOES ALLAH SWT REFER TO THE SEVEN HEAVENS AS SEVEN PATHS/WAYS/ IN THE VERSE BELOW?
Quran 23 17
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعَ طَرَآئِقَ وَمَا كُنَّا عَنِ الْخَلْقِ غَـفِلِينَ
And indeed We have created above you seven Tara’iq, and We are never unaware of the creation.
Answer-Because one of the miracles of the Quran is the no. of times a word/phrase is mentioned, that word/phrase corresponds with the meaning of the word.
Allah SWT ensured that seven heavens is mentioned seven times in the Quran. Allah SWT used another description above (saba taraaiq) for seven heavens. If seven heavens(saba samawaat) had to be mentioned in the verse above then there would be no correspondence with the meaning of the phrase and the no. of times it is mentioned.
TAFSIR IBN KATHIR
(Saba taraaiq refers to the seven heavens)
Allah says here,
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعَ طَرَائِقَ وَمَا كُنَّا عَنِ الْخَلْقِ غَافِلِينَ ﴿١٧﴾
And indeed We have created above you seven Tara’iq, and We are never unaware of the creation.
After mentioning the creation of man, Allah then mentions the creation of the seven heavens.
Allah often mentions the creation of the heavens and earth alongside the creation of man, as He says elsewhere:
لَخَلْقُ السَّمَـوَتِ وَالاٌّرْضِ أَكْـبَرُ مِنْ خَلْقِ النَّاسِ
The creation of the heavens and the earth is indeed greater than the creation of mankind. (40:57)
A similar Ayah appears at the beginning of Surah As-Sajdah, which the Messenger of Allah used to recite on Friday mornings. At the beginning it mentions the creation of the heavens and earth, then it says how man was created from semen from clay, and it also discusses the resurrection and rewards and punishments, and other matters.
سَبْعَ طَرَائِقَ
(seven Tara’iq). Mujahid said, “This means the seven heavens

QUESTION -WHY IS ISA NOT MENTIONED BY NAME IS SOME VERSES BUT ONLY AS THE MESSIAH?
Quran 3;59
Indeed, the example of Isa to Allah is like that of Adam. He created Him from dust; then He said to him, “Be,” and he was.”
One of the miracles of the Quran is a numerical correspondence with certain words or phrases.
To understand the creation of Isa as being supernatural, Allah SWT compares his creation to the creation of Adam. Adam had no mother and father and Isa had no father.
The above verse has a numerical correspondence since THE NAME ISA APPPEARS 25 TIMES IN THE QURAN AND THE NAME ADAM APPEARS 25 TIMES ALSO.
Allah maintains this correspondence by referring to Isa only as the messiah in other verses of the Quran and not by his name. If Isa had been mentioned by name in the verse below then a numerical correspondence would not exist between the names Adam and Isa
Quran 4;172
“”The messiah would never be too proud to be a servant of Allah, nor would the angels nearest to Allah. Those who are too proud and arrogant to worship Him will be brought before Him all together””
MANY OTHER EXAMPLES OF MAINTAINING A NUMERICAL CORRESPONDENCE WITH WORDS/PHRASE EXIST IN THE QURAN
