The Quranic verse of light and saying Allah SWT is the source of all energy in the universe

Quran, science ,mutashabihat and saying all the energy in the universe comes from Allah SWT

Surah Noor ,verse 35 “Allah is the light of the heavens and the earth.”

1-The above verse is an example of the mutashabihat. The mutashabihat verses of the Quran has various meanings and thus should not be restricted to having only one explanation.

2-We accept the explanation given below by the sahaba, as well as classical and contemporary scholars. We add that with respect to a scientific explanation of the above verse, we understand that it is Allah SWT that provides the entire universe with ENERGY. We accept that the arabic word “noor” is understood to be guidance and has many other interpretations but could also be understood to be ENERGY in the context in which it occurs. .It is Allah SWT that is the source of energy for atoms ,molecules, planets, stars and everything that exists in the universe. While there are places in the universe where there is no light, there is no place in the universe that is devoid of energy. This energy was created by Allah SWT and is fundamental to all matter that exists. Nothing in the entire universe whether animate or inanimate, seen or unseen can exist without energy created by Allah SWT.

3-WE ACCEPT AND ACKNOWLEDGE THE EXPLANATION GIVEN BELOW AS WELL AS BY CLASSICAL AND CONTEMPORART SCHOLARS.
Ali bin Abi Talhah reported that Ibn Abbas said the verse
means, Allah is the Guide of the inhabitants of the heavens and the earth.
Ibn Jurayj reported that Mujahid and Ibn Abbas said concerning the verse “He is controlling their affairs and their stars and sun and moon.”
As-Suddi said concerning the verse “by His Light the heavens and earth are illuminated.”
It was narrated that Ibn Masud said, “There is no night or day with your Lord; the Light of the Throne comes from the Light of His Face.”

4-Allah SWT and His Prophet SAW know best.
